1. General Information
Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the federal government (Data Protection Act, DPA), everyone has the right to privacy and protection from misuse of their personal data. We strictly comply with these provisions. We treat personal data as confidential and never sell it. It is only passed on in the cases described in this policy.
2. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing is ARDUGA AG, Hagenholzstrasse 80, 8050 Zurich, Email: info@arduga.com.
3. Data Collection
When accessing our websites, the following data is stored in log files: IP address, date, time, browser request, and generally transmitted information regarding the operating system and browser. This usage data forms the basis for statistical, anonymous evaluations.
For orders in the shop, we collect the name, address, email address, and payment data for contract fulfillment.
4. Disclosure of Data
Your data is passed on to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary to deliver the goods. Payments are processed by the payment provider Stripe, which receives your payment and order data for this purpose. With your consent, we also share information about your visit and your order with Meta (see section 6). For anonymous visitor statistics we use Plausible (see section 7).
5. Cookies
We use necessary cookies and browser storage for the shopping cart, for your cookie choice (cookie "arduga_consent", 12 months) and – if you reach us via a campaign link – for the name of the campaign (UTM parameters, cookie "arduga_utm", 90 days). We store the campaign name with your order to see which promotion led to the purchase. It is not shared with third parties.
We only set marketing cookies if you choose "Accept all" in the cookie notice. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
6. Meta Pixel and Conversions API
With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. This lets us measure whether our advertising on Facebook and Instagram leads to visits and purchases, and target it more precisely.
The pixel sets the cookies "_fbp" and "_fbc" and sends Meta which pages and products you view, what you add to your cart and whether you buy – including the amount, the products and any promotion code used – as well as your IP address and browser identifier. After a purchase, we also report it directly from our server (Conversions API), together with your email address, phone number, name, postcode, city and country. We only transmit these details as a hash value (SHA-256), never in plain text. Meta matches them against its user accounts to attribute the purchase to an ad.
We are jointly responsible with Meta for collecting and transmitting this data; Meta alone is responsible for any further processing (privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy). Meta may transfer data to the USA and is certified under the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (for people in the EU: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
We do not use the Meta Pixel in the children's area "Play & Fun" (stories, videos, tips, My ARDUGA).
7. Visitor Statistics (Plausible)
To see how many people visit our website, where they come from and which pages they view, we use Plausible Analytics by Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia. The data is processed on servers in the EU. Plausible sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
It records the page viewed, the referring website or campaign (UTM parameters), country, device type, browser and operating system, and whether an item was added to the cart, the checkout was opened or a purchase was completed – including the amount and any promotion code used. Your IP address and browser identifier are only used to create a daily changing, anonymous identifier and are not stored. This does not allow us to identify you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in anonymous audience measurement (for people in the EU: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
8. Your Rights
You have the right to request free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing, as well as the right to have this data corrected, blocked, or deleted at any time. Please contact us at info@arduga.com for this purpose.
